Nokta Invenio Pro 3D Ground Scanner & Metal Detector

The IPTU Sensor (Integrated Positional Tracking Unit) was developed by Nokta to precisely calculate the right-left and forward-back movements of the search coil and determine its position and height above the ground.

During scanning, the user can follow the starting and finishing points of the scanned area and view the positions of detected targets. The IPTU Sensor also helps determine:

• Width and length of the scanned area
• Target location
• Target depth
• Target shape
• Target dimensions

The Invenio provides real-time imaging of underground metals and ground anomalies, giving the user significantly more information than conventional target ID numbers and audio signals alone.

The Invenio uses an Artificial Neural Network with adaptive learning algorithms to provide advanced shape extraction and depth indications.

Detected targets can be analyzed for:

The system is designed to detect everything from deep treasures and caches to coins, relics, gold and underground cavities.

The Invenio provides three Non-Motion search modes:

Basic Mode

Basic Mode is designed for beginners. The user adjusts the sensitivity, calibrates the IPTU Sensor and can begin searching.

In this mode, iron is automatically discriminated, allowing the user to search for non-ferrous metals. It is suitable for quick treasure searching and analyzing detected objects before excavation.

Expert Mode

Expert Mode is designed for advanced users and provides access to additional settings such as threshold, discrimination and audio tones.

It gives experienced users greater control over the detector's search parameters.

Ground Anomaly & Cavity Mode

This mode is specifically designed for locating ground changes, anomalies and underground cavities, including:

• Rooms
• Tunnels
• Cellars
• Other underground spaces

The user calibrates the IPTU Sensor and performs the search to locate anomalies and cavities below the ground.

In addition to the three Non-Motion modes, the Invenio provides three Motion search modes:

All Metal Mode

All Metal Mode is recommended when the user does not want to use discrimination. It is particularly suitable for searching on land and in locations containing relatively little iron trash.

Fast Mode

Fast Mode is designed especially for areas containing large amounts of iron.

Its fast response speed helps identify targets located close to one another, improving target separation in iron-contaminated areas.

Deep Mode

Deep Mode is specifically designed for detecting relics and other large objects and allows the user to utilize the Invenio's maximum depth performance for larger targets.

According to IDC, the Invenio Pro provides approximately 45 cm detection depth for a Euro-coin-sized object.

For large objects, IDC specifies a detection capability of several meters, depending on the search coil, soil type and object size.

The Invenio can display detected target depth directly in centimeters.

Unwanted targets can be excluded using identification numbers. For example, a range such as ID 30 and below can be rejected to eliminate small iron targets. The Notch Filter also allows individual conductivity values to be discriminated instead of excluding an entire range.

The Invenio provides a Target ID range of 00–99, Iron Audio, Tone Break and Notch Filter.

The Invenio Pro operates at three frequencies:

• 5 kHz
• 14 kHz
• 20 kHz

The Pro Package includes three waterproof DD search coils:

INV28 – 28 × 18 cm / 11 × 7 in
Designed for precise searching for smaller targets and for searching in areas containing large amounts of trash.

INV40 – 40 × 35 cm / 15.5 × 14 in
An all-round search coil providing wide ground coverage and search depth.

INV56 – 56 × 49 cm / 22 × 19 in
Included with the Pro version for even greater coverage and search depth on larger objects.

The Invenio provides three Ground Balance options:

• Automatic
• Manual
• Tracking

Sensitivity can be adjusted from 01–99, while Target ID also operates on a 00–99 scale.

IDC additionally specifies ground mineralization information in percent and conductivity values from 1–99.

The detector's fast recovery speed is designed to separate targets positioned close together, particularly when searching amongst trash and iron.

The Invenio system box and detector communicate wirelessly. Optional 2.4 GHz wireless headphones can also be used, while wired KOSS headphones are included in the Pro Package.

The Archive function allows users to save 3D graphs and screenshots and transfer them to a PC for viewing, analysis and comparison.

The Invenio also supports firmware updates via USB, allowing the system software to be updated through a PC.

The Invenio Pro features a 7-inch 800 × 480 18-bit RGB TFT display.
