Nokta The Legend 2 Metal Detector
Nokta The Legend 2 is an advanced simultaneous multi-frequency metal detector designed for detecting coins, relics, jewelry and small gold nuggets across a wide range of ground conditions. As a versatile all-terrain metal detector and gold detector, it is suitable for different detecting environments and target types.
The Legend 2 combines Simultaneous Multi-Frequency (SMF) technology with selectable single frequencies of 4 kHz, 10 kHz, 15 kHz, 20 kHz and 40 kHz, providing flexible frequency options for different targets and ground conditions.
The detector features 99 Target IDs, 7 tone options, advanced discrimination settings and five dedicated search modes: Park, Field, Beach, Relic and Gold.
The Nokta Legend 2 is fully waterproof to 5 meters (16 ft) and weighs only 1.2 kg (2.6 lbs) including the search coil. Its upgraded 6700 mAh lithium-ion battery provides up to 33% more runtime compared with the previous Legend model.
Additional features include low-latency Bluetooth compatibility, bone-conduction headphone compatibility, wireless firmware updates, vibration, backlit LCD, keypad backlight, LED flashlight and an improved user interface and button layout.
Nokta the Legend 2 features Simultaneous Multi-Frequency technology, allowing the detector to scan multiple frequencies at the same time for improved depth, accuracy and reliable target identification across different ground conditions.
The detector also provides selectable single operating frequencies:
• 4 kHz
• 10 kHz
• 15 kHz
• 20 kHz
• 40 kHzMulti-frequency options include:
• M1
• M2
• M3
• MD
• MW
• MNokta the Legend 2 features five dedicated search modes:
Park – A dedicated search mode for detecting in parks and similar detecting environments.
Field – A dedicated search mode for field detecting.
Beach – A dedicated search mode for beach detecting.
Relic – A dedicated Relic mode introduced with The Legend 2 and designed to handle challenging detecting conditions.
Gold – A dedicated search mode for gold detecting, including small gold nuggets in mineralized gold fields.
The five modes allow The Legend 2 to be used for different targets and detecting environments, from coins and relics to jewelry and small gold nuggets.
Nokta the Legend 2 features an expanded Target ID scale from 01 to 99 for detailed numerical target identification.
Accurate Target IDs combined with harmonic tones and adjustable tone frequencies help the user identify detected targets.
The detector provides seven tone options:
• 1 Tone
• 2 Tones
• 3 Tones
• 4 Tones
• 6 Tones
• 99 Tones
• PTarget IDs can also be displayed while using Pinpoint Mode.
Nokta the Legend 2 provides four discrimination options:
• All Metal
• Ferrous Off
• Ground Effect Off
• Custom / Notch DiscriminationAdditional target and audio adjustment features include:
• Notch Filter
• Tone Break
• Adjustable Tone Frequency
• Adjustable Tone Volume
• FerroCheck
• Adjustable ThresholdThese settings provide extensive control over target responses and discrimination during detecting.
The adjustable Recovery Speed setting allows the detector to change the speed of the target response, helping detect smaller targets located among trash.
Sensitivity can be adjusted through 30 levels, allowing the detector to be configured for different detecting conditions.
Nolta the Legend 2 provides three ground balance options:
• Automatic
• Manual
• TrackingThese options allow the detector to adapt its ground balance according to different ground conditions.
Nokta the Legend 2 features Frequency Shift and automatic Noise Cancellation to help reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Manual Frequency Shift provides 19 channels, giving the user additional control when electromagnetic interference is present.
The threshold level and threshold frequency can be adjusted in every search mode.
This allows the threshold response to be configured according to the selected mode and detecting conditions.
Each of the five search modes includes three customizable user profiles in addition to its factory default settings.
This provides a total of 15 custom user profiles, allowing different settings to be saved for different detecting conditions and preferences.
Nokta the Legend 2 features an IP68 waterproof design and is fully submersible to a depth of 5 meters / 16 feet.
The detector is also protected against total dust ingress, making it suitable for beaches, wet ground and shallow-water detecting.
Nokta the Legend 2 weighs only:
1.2 kg / 2.6 lbs including the search coil
Its lightweight and well-balanced construction is designed to reduce fatigue during extended detecting sessions.
The detector also features an adjustable armrest and fold-flat search coil.
Adjustable detector length:
63–145 cm / 25–57 in
Nokta the Legend 2 is equipped with an upgraded:
6700 mAh Lithium-Ion battery
According to Nokta, the upgraded battery increases runtime by up to 33% compared with the previous Legend model.
Nokta the Legend 2 supports low-latency Bluetooth connectivity and is compatible with Nokta Bluetooth low-latency headphones.
The detector also supports bone-conduction headphones.
Compatible audio accessories include Nokta Bluetooth headphones, Nokta bone-conduction headphones and Nokta waterproof headphones.
Nokta the Legend 2 supports both wired and wireless firmware updates.
Firmware can be updated wirelessly from a compatible phone or laptop, while wired software updates are also supported.
Nokta the Legend 2 features Pinpoint Mode for locating detected targets more precisely.
Target IDs are visible while using Pinpoint Mode, and the redesigned operation eliminates the need to continuously hold the button during pinpointing.
Nokta the Legend 2 features a larger custom LCD display designed to make information easier to read.
Additional features include:
• LCD Backlight
• Automatic Backlight
• Keypad Backlight
• LED Flashlight
• Vibration
• Clock
• Time Tracking
• Mineralization Indicator
• Mute Function
• Battery Indicator
• Battery Charge LEDThe vibration feature provides tactile target alerts and can also be useful for underwater detecting and hearing-impaired users.
